Summary
A student shares a lifelong feeling that life is present in everything — even a stone, whose electrons move though we cannot see it. Yogi Shri agrees and places it within the Netra Tantra’s methods: one may begin with a mantra such as So’ham or Om Namah Shivaya, or the sound of Om, involving the senses — that is anava upaya.
He then explains why categories exist at all. Picture a single line running from pure black to pure white. To talk about it, study it, write scriptures and build a philosophy, we draw divisions on it; at the extremes they look like opposites. But it is one line. If you discriminate carefully, you see a third thing that is common to every point and pervades every category. Seeing that is the doorway to shambhavi samadhi.
