Vigyan Bhairav Tantra
Study and practice of the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra and its meditation techniques.
The Vigyan Bhairav Tantra is one of the most practical texts in the yogic tradition. In the form of a dialogue between Bhairava and Bhairavi, it sets out a large collection of meditation techniques — using breath, sound, space, sensation and ordinary activity — each described as a doorway into direct awareness. It is a central text in the teaching of Yogi Shri G. Niranjan.
How the text is taught
The techniques are not collected like recipes. Each is studied for what it points to, practiced under guidance, and tested against your own experience. Most students work deeply with one or two methods that suit their temperament, rather than sampling many. The teaching draws out the view behind the text: that awareness itself is the path.
